DAY 30
I got woke up around 8:30 by the phone ringing. I got up and started getting ready for a big day in San Francisco. The kids starting getting up and we had another fast breakfast. Cereal, toast, and pop tarts so that we could get on the road. I sent the boys to take a shower and they came back shaking their heads. There were not any doors on the of the showers and they were afraid someone might look at them. So we headed out on the road.
It wasn't long before Paisley was getting sleepy so we headed to the back. It wasn't long before we were going to be in San Francisco so we came back up front so that we wouldn't miss the Golden Gate Bridge. We stopped to make pictures of the bridge before we crossed it and then headed into the city.
It didn't take long to get tense in the camper. We didn't really know where we were going and the camper was so big to move around all that traffic. We drove around an hour and finally decided that we were not going to get a parking spot big enough for this RV. We could only look out the window at all the stuff to do. It was a little disappointing but oh well.
We are going to try to get a little closer to Livermore where my great aunt lives. There is a place called Pleasanton, California and that way we can miss most of the traffic in the morning when we head over to visit them. They have campsites at the fairgrounds with full hookups so we are going to stay there. We had decided to just hang out there for the night but we ended up taking Alexa to the doctor because of the rash that is on Alexa's face. We want to get it checked out tonight so we don't have to search around for somewhere to go tomorrow. Thad went in with her while I stayed in the RV with the rest of the kids. We played Yahtzee and it didn't taken anytime before they were heading back to the RV. The pharmacy was closed so we headed back to the campsite to have showers and then we watched the movie RV before we went to bed. We are meeting Beth and Aunt Hazel for breakfast at a place called Mimi's Cafe.
