DAY 23 STILL IN BEND, OREGON

DAY 23
We woke up around 8:30 and headed over for breakfast. Another great breakfast buffet. Then we went back to the room to get ready for church. It was called Discovery Christian Church. They were so friendly and it was a good service. They had communion and a singing service. They bragged on the kids about how well behaved that they were. We headed back to the room to eat and change our clothes. Then we drove to T, Oregon to see Smith Rock National Park. I dropped Thad and the kids off and headed to town with the little girls to find something for us to do while they hiked up the rock. That is all there is to do here is hike and ride bikes. Someone told them that there is a rock that looks like a monkey and they want to check it out. The town was so small that there wasn't anything to do. I couldn't believe it, not even a McDonald's. We stopped at a market and got a push pop and then sat outside on a picnic table to eat. Thad called and wanted me to take a picture of them because they had made it to the top of the rock. We headed back and took pictures of them. They were so far up that you could barely see them. I waited for them to come down and I ended up calling them twice before they came down. It took so long that I thought that something was wrong. It took over a hour to get down and come around to the front of the rock. The kids were driving me crazy. Both of them fell and got boo boos and Paisley pooped twice. It was a long hour and a half. They finally made it back and they were very thirsty. Alexa got sunburned again. Thad said that the views were beautiful. It is now his new favorite. He loves Oregon.

I WILL POST SOME PICTURES LATER.. ALEXA TOOK PICTURES BUT WE COULDN'T GET THEM TO SEND TO THE DROID SO I WILL UPDATE THEM LATER.

All he talks about is how the weather is so great and not humid. I told him that he needed to live here through winter to be sure that he will really like it. We drove through a town called Sisters, Oregon. He really loved that town. We drove around to look at real estate to compare prices and see how they vary from town to town. He loves that kind of stuff. We didn't mind because the big kids were on there ipods and Paisley and Kali were asleep. We made it back to the hotel and the boys headed to the pool. The rest of us tried to take a nap. Alexa and Kali fell asleep for awhile but no luck for the rest of us. Lawson and Mitchell came up to the room and they were ready to eat. We had a free for all . We had pizza rolls, salad, bacon, boiled eggs, and whatever else that we wanted to eat. We are all stuffed once again. We are trying to eat all our food so that we don't have to take it back to the RV. We went to the gym with the kids so they could work out. I brought Paisley back up so that we could take a bath and then the others came up later still doing sit ups and push ups. I don't know what had got in to them. Kali is right in the middle of them. Now they are taking turns taking baths and writing in there journals. Then lights out.
