DAY 22 BEND, OREGON

DAY 22

We woke up and headed over to the free breakfast. We expected a waffle and some bagels. It was the best.... scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, fried potatoes, fresh fruit, and more. YUM, YUM.  We have to change rooms for tonight because this room is taken. That is ok with me because this was a smoking room. You only notice the smell when you first walk in but it is gross. The next room is a bit bigger and it has a kitchen. We are going to head over to the camper and get some more stuff and then find something to do in this town. After we changed rooms and got everything unloaded, Paisley was starting to get sleepy. I told Thad to take all the big kids to town to check things out while I put Paisley down for a nap. There is a festival that everyone has told us about. Paisley went to sleep pretty easy but Kali just would not go to sleep. She was happy though because she was watching ICarly.  I thought that I might squeeze in a nap as well and just about that time...Thad and the kids came in and woke up Paisley. They were ready to change to go to the pool. We decided to do the same. They have an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub. Paisley loves the hot tub but we are afraid that it is too hot for her. I sit on the side and put my feet in and then we move her over to the other pool for awhile. Alexa likes to stay in the indoor pool that way she doesn't have to put on sunscreen. We were there over an hour before Paisley started to say EAT, EAT. I headed back to the room to feed her while Thad and the others stayed to swim awhile. They finally came up from swimming and changed to head to the gym to work out. Tell Scott that Mitchell is running. They have been down there forever. Thad is with them, I am sure that they are having some kind of competition. I keep waiting for them to charge in the door demanding food.. Lawson requested tacos so I made them earlier and he was sampling them as he was going out the door. I know swimming and working out will have them starved. Kali and Paisley are over here pretending to talk to each other on the phone. It is so funny. Kali is crazy... she repeats everything I mean everything that she hears. The kids have laughed so hard at her. She keeps showing them her finger that the crab pinched. If you recall, it was her middle finger. The kids told her that the boo boo looked like a mad face and she keeps showing it to us asking if it looks like a happy face or a mad face. Well they finally made it back. They didn't go to the gym, they ran 3 miles on a trail just down from our room. They really are hungry. They ate supper and then the kids watched TV while Thad set on the balcony. After we had baths, it was off to bed.
