DAY 25 GETTING THE RV BACK...OR SO THEY SAY

DAY 25

We woke up at 9:00 this morning. It feels good to sleep in sometimes. Then we headed down to breakfast. On the way back up the kids stopped in at the gym for a few minutes and then we headed up to the room to start packing up. Thad talked to the guy at the shop and they are saying that they should be done with RV around 2:30 or 3:00. I am ready to be on the road again. I want to see something besides the swimming pool and the gym. We went up to the lobby to get Kali's shoes that she had left at the pool the other day. We also went to check on Thad's hat that Mitchell left at the gym but no luck with that. Chad, it was the black Farm Bureau hat. It was Thad's favorite. We got all of our stuff together while Thad rode around. Once he got back we loaded everything up and headed to the store. We bought enough groceries for the night and then headed to the shop to see if the RV was ready. It wasn't quite ready so the guy suggested a spot for us to check out .We went to a nice little park to let the kids play.

Kali said that they were looking for slug bugs.

 We stopped at Taco Bell and got lunch and then headed up to Butte Station. There was a road that we took to the top of the hill. It was so high it looked like you could touch the clouds. We had lunch and then headed back to the shop. They were right...it is ready. We started to load up all of our stuff while Thad took back the rental car just in time so that we didn't have to pay for another day. We are happily on the road again. Praise God. Then we headed out on the road.  I never thought that I would say this but this turned into the worst day so far. Including the day that the RV broke down. This is the only time that we have really had trouble finding our way. We figured out were we were at and then thought that we would be at our campsite in  30 minutes. The campsite was closed and no one was around not even a camp host. So we headed back out on the road to find another one.

We were on the worst road that we have taken so far. It was curve after curve down a hill and never ending... We drove what seemed like forever. Kali fell asleep at around 7:30. The RV is starting to get tense because we are usually at our site by now.  I was holding Paisley and all of the sudden she throws up all over me. I get her and myself cleaned and held her and then all of the sudden I had Mitchell hold Paisley because I got sick as well. It was terrible. We finally found the campsite and I took Paisley and we went to bed. Thad and the kids watched a movie and went to bed too.  So glad that this day is over..Goodnight
