DAY 18 WINCHESTER BAY, OREGON

DAY 18
Paisley woke us up at 8:30 and I tried to update the blog while the kids helped clean up the camper. Alexa headed up for a shower and I had the boys running for the day. I put Paisley in the bath and then Kali and then we headed out. The kids are catching up on their journals. They have been playing nonstop and not had time to write much. We stopped off at the Tillamook Cheese Factory to check it out. We got to sample cheese and see inside the factory how they make the cheese. Then we went through the store and bought some cheese, ice cream, and some beef jerky. Kali also talked her daddy out of a lolly pop. I told her no but she said daddy I wish I had a lolly pop and he melted and said yes. What a sucker...I hear that stuff all the time so I am more immune to it than he is.

We stopped of to get some groceries. Thad has done all of the grocery shopping so far...whohoo. It was so funny because he is trying to budget and buy cheap groceries. He bought that ice cream at Tillamook for almost $6.00 a gallon and the kids came back laughing saying that they have it at this store 2 for $7.00. They said that he was so mad.
These are some of the views that we had on the way to Winchester Bay, Oregon

this is Paisley's new talent....sucking her thumb and picking her nose at the same time.LOL

It didn't take us long to find a spot to stop for the night. We stayed at Winchester Bay Beach Resort. It was really nice, just very windy.  Alexa took Paisley over to the playground to play. Thad went check things out, the boys are riding their bikes, and I am waiting for Kali to wake up. The boys came running over to the RV saying get your camera I just saw the biggest squirrel ever.

I got my camera and took a picture at the site beside us and Kali was crying when I got back to the RV. She didn't know where I was at. I took her over to the playground and then Paisley was ready to come back. I fixed her some soup while Thad and the kids rode bikes over to the sand dunes.

This is the view of our campsite.
Mitchell ended up coming back before the others. They said that the ride back was hard. They were riding against the wind but they said that the dunes are awesome. We are going to take the RV tomorrow before we head out. We are starting the grill for some burgers and grilled chicken. Mitchell went down to the dock for some fishing. We took turns taking showers and put some laundry in. We also got to talk to Robin on tango. It was so cool, we even got to see Grant bat at his ballgame. He got a double...good job Grant. We started laundry a bit late so I  was doing laundry until 11:00. That is the last time I do that. The kids were watching National Lampoon's Vacation again. We should know that movie by heart when we get home.  Well goodnight .
