DAY 27 KLAMATH,CALIFORNIA

DAY 27

We woke up before 8:00 this morning. We are going to rent a kayak for the day. So I am making omelets and fried eggs for breakfast. Lawson I decided to clean up the RV while Thad and the kids take turns on the kayak. After I was done, I took Kali and Paisley over to the camping store to buy some candy. Then we played on the playground and then went into the rec room to look at magazines and watch spongebob. The boys ended up joining us. Then we headed back to the RV for lunch. It is cool here to day so we had chili. It wasn't long until Thad and Alexa came up to have lunch too. We went down to the river to take Paisley and Kali to get in the kayak. We started with Paisley and she fell asleep in my arms. Then we went to get Kali, remember this is the same river that the whale and the baby are in. He actually scared me a little bit. The whale stopped and looked over at us like get away from my baby. I said BACK UP THAD.... Here are some more pictures.

Thad took Mitchell out on the kayak to fish and the rest of us went back to the RV. I finally got Paisley to sleep since she got woke up from her nap. Mitchell made his way back up and was ready to play ping pong again. Lawson went over with him, the girls went to the playground, and Thad went back to kayak. I am enjoying some quiet time and eating m&m's without having to share and watching a movie that I can actually hear while Paisley is sleeping. We ordered some more pizza from the Slab Town Pizza here at the campsite. We didn't get enough to eat last night. We are all starving.. Mitchell is running and the rest of us are staring out the door waiting for Bill to bring our pizzas. Here he comes and no pizza...he said 15 more minutes..ugh.. It wasn't much longer and we were eating pizza. We ate both pizzas and they were good. We headed to the playground where the boys played ping pong, Paisley played in the sandbox,and the other girls flipped on the bar. The owner came by and brought sticks and marshmallows to the community fire pit. We made some marshmallows and Kali made a friend named Kevin. He sent Kali over to ask if we have any change for the games in the rec room. Alexa got her some change and I told Thad to tell him that he was too old for her. He was 9. It was cute though, the other kids at the campsite were not being very nice to him and they played good. The owner told us to be on the lookout for a bear at the end of the property. There is a fish cleaning station there and he said that he comes up at night to eat. We waited until after 9.00 and he never showed up so we went in to give Paisley a bath. Kali came in soon after and had a bath. Thad and I watched Wild Hogs. I love that movie. The big kids are playing tag outside. They made their way in pretty early tonight because the owner sent all the kids inside because they were being too loud. They had showers and finished watching the movie and went to bed. Goodnight
